Crew Stanton’s Halloween Disco for Tiny Lives!

On Tuesday 4th November, Crew Stanton are having a school disco for our crew charity Tiny Lives. Tiny Lives is a charity in Newcastle that supports premature and unwell babies and their families.

Crew Stanton have supported Tiny Lives for the past 3 years, running a range of charity events. They were very keen to run a final event before they leave XPG. I would like to appreciate the students for really leaving a strong legacy at XPG for what Crew charities can really achieve. Across the last 3 years, they have raised over £3000!

The very first event Crew Stanton organised was a Halloween disco, so it seemed apt for this to also be the last event.

Tickets cost £1.50 and will go on-sale in the canteen tomorrow. There will not be any tickets sold after half term. They are on sale at break and lunchtime in the canteen on Thursday and Friday this week and there is a limit of 100 tickets available.

There will be games played and refreshments available to purchase on the night.

Crew Kahlo will also be running some additional Day of the Dead and Frieda Kahlo themed games in the canteen space on the same night to raise money for their Crew Charity,

We recommend you dress up, as there will be a prize for best costume, but it is optional (keep in mind the school’s dress code which is modest and appropriate). We encourage as many students as possible to go home after school to get ready. There is a limited space in school for students to get changed and ready for the disco if they live too far away to do this. Students must let their crew leader know if they plan on remaining in school between 3:15 and 5.

The event will start at 5pm and end at 6:30. The night will involve a combination of dancing and games.

Any students who are not meeting our expectations in terms of HOWLs in sessions or behaviours around school will lose the privilege of attending the disco.

Please support our charity by encouraging your child to attend this disco, as this your contribtuions will support the family of an unwell child.
