I wanted to share this great book that I have recently finished.
This is a non-fiction account of one town (Oberstdorf) in the Bavarian mountains and is an account of how the Nazi regime impacted the families living there. It is written in an accessible and engaging style (but will be a challenge for some students).
By exploring this period of history through the lens of specific individuals and families, it really makes real the concepts and policies we are learning about in class as part of their Living Under Nazi Rule module.
