Following on from my previous post regarding the Presentation of Learning…
I am excited to announce that we have secured a space at Newcastle University to host our Presentation of Learning for our HUMAN expedition “Do your bit”.
The PoL will take place on Thursday 31st March, from 6.00-7.30pm.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the students to showcase their learning in a higher education setting and gives our students their first experience of being on a University Campus.
It also allows us to welcome families to the event. We would not be able to host an event of this scale in our current, temporary building.
Newcastle University is in the city centre of Newcastle, directly opposite Haymarket metro, allowing ease of access via metro or bus. We will post a map with the lecture theatre marked next week.
As is always the case for presentations of learning, there is an expectation that at least one family member attends the event to celebrate your children’s hard work over the course of this term. At this event, we can welcome up to 3 guests per child.
As with the previous presentation of learning, students will remain in school until the event. We will be transporting the students to the university via coach. At the end of the presentation, students will be released into the care of the adult(s) in attendance.
Students are welcome to bring healthy snacks or a packed tea into school for them to eat after the school day, before the presentation.
Could I ask that you please fill in this google form, letting us know how many guests will be attending?
