Today marks the 80th anniversary of Victory over Japan (VJ Day), the day in 1945 when the Second World War came to an end. We pause to remember and give thanks to all those who served and sacrificed, both at home and overseas, so that we may live in freedom today.
Although our school community is currently on its summer break, we acknowledge this important anniversary and reflect with gratitude on the courage, resilience, and commitment to peace shown by those who came before us. Their legacy continues to inspire hope for a better future.
