Weather advice for Friday
The current forecast for Doncaster is cloudless, 30ºC with a high UV rating for the day. There are not currently any specific weather warnings from the MET office around heat, however this is something that we ask all families to consider in terms of kit for the day.
We have already communicated that if your child needs to take travel sickness medication, please make sure that you make our office aware by contacting [email protected] . Your child will also need to bring a packed lunch and any healthy snacks plus any equipment that is needed for their performance.
Given the hot weather, and the partially outdoor setting of the festival, please can all families of students attending also ensure that your child has:
- A large water bottle – there are fountains at the school in Doncaster where students can refill their bottles.
- A hat such as a cap to protect your child’s head from the sun.
